Burnt Umber

Burnt Umber is a natural pigment known as Pigment Brown 7, composed of hydrated ferric oxide with manganese dioxide. It is used as a colorant in ceramic glazes and is suitable for use as a body stain. When decomposed, it forms hematite and partially oxidized manganese dioxide.
